I love picnics. 

Now that I have a daughter we love to take walks with Farah

roll out a blanket 

take out some snacks

sit in the sun 

and have a picnic. 

only Shakinah would much rather eat sticks than food 

and flowers

all the ground is covered in little wildflowers...which makes my heart so happy

Shakinah is learning to pet Farah gently 

mommy's little explorer

oh uh baby learned how to get out of the stroller 

shakinah making herself comfortable for the ride home. 

Later we went out with Papa for an ice cream. 

It was Shakinah's first ice cream and this is her clapping after her first taste.

Johan said,

"we have to prepare her for this summer with the Tukey."
