Cat Lover Baby

We have had a very busy fall so far: good busy, but nonetheless leaving little time to update!
I think it's only about to get busier so I thought I would leave everyone with a nice long entry with a lot of great pictures!

The big news as of the past month has been:

We have bought a house, and we will be able to get the keys on November 17th!
We are so thankful that we will have a bit of time to settle before baby comes! It's just such a praise worthy story and we feel very blessed by this wonderful find! It's a great house and we look so forward to filling it with a lot of memories! We will be moving out of the lovely city of Veenendaal and going next door to Ede and we couldn't ask for a better location. We are literally walking distance from a national park which I posted in an earlier post (HERE). And within the house there is plenty of space for visitors so....WELCOME! :)
I will update with pictures of the house when we've slapped a bit of paint on those walls!

Onto pictures of Baby...
Shakinah has been loving drawing lately
and is constantly making new pictures for Mommy to proudly display

This is Shakinah's first drawing
She had so much fun and in ended up with more marker on her stomach than the paper

Julia had gotten free tickets for Efteling (a fairytale attraction park for children)
And she was so sweet to invite Shakinah and I for a fun filled day out!
We had a great time and really enjoyed it

they loved watching the old elven men

we went up on a sky scraper and were amazed at the view from atop

A few weeks ago Johan showed up with a kitten that he had found lost in the shopping center.
We enjoyed the kitten very much and it was very sweet, but I was also very happy when we found the owner of kitten. The family had missed it greatly and the children were over joyed to have their kitten back!

Shakinah was a little suspicious

Then she tried a little patting

and a little poking

and she was sold!

the rats also loved the cat

Ki's first braid

Making her quiet place a little more snuggly

She LOVES her bath
and this was her first bubble bath
which she went crazy over!

Sesame street time
and of course her baby had to join her
Love my smiley Ki baby
